I Just Love This Mag
Dear Gary: I just finished my June edition and could not help but pass on my appreciation for Greg Rogers. His reviews are consistently of the highest quality and always more detailed than those of my other subscription (SGHT). His article on the Yamaha DPX-1000 was the most enlightening one I have read on the subject on gray scale and color balance. By the way, I have been a subscriber since the beginning of 1996 and don’t recall seeing a comprehensive tutorial on these topics. It would be great and very educational if Greg could dedicate one whole article to this important subject, For instance, I don’t know the meaning of many of the acronyms (IRE, CIE, etc.), and while I confess to having been out of university a long time, if my engineering background is inadequate, then I can’t help feeling I am not the only one with these questions. Please keep the quality of your publication at this level and you will have me as a subscriber till the day I die.
