Dear GaryUltimately, we must have the best quality 1080p video and that means 1080p with wavelet compression such as (Windows Media 9) WM9/Corona. Ultimately, I am for a high quality audio track that will end up utilizing anywhere from 3 to 6 megabits per second (Mbps) for movies. Music HD-DVDs should utilize full 24-bit/96 kHz MLP (Meridian Lossless Packing) and 1080p video. If Blu-ray is only using MPEG-2, and AOD (Advanced Optical Disc) uses Corona or wavelet compression then I will 100 percent support only AOD from Toshiba/NEC! Blu-ray will get my 100 percent support only if they use advanced video compression such as Corona or similar quality! All these conditions must be met! Music Videos must have 24/96 MLP and 1080p.
