New Surround Sound Standard––Part II
Dear Gary, Thanks for printing my letter as the lead off for your second article about a new surround sound standard. As a result of that placement, I was contacted by Ralph Glasgal the founder/inventor of Ambiophonics (glasgal@ambiophonics.org). I happened to be going to the New York area on sales calls, and so he invited me over to his place to hear what he has been doing to create a “you are there” 360-degree soundfield. Wow!
