WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
Indecent Proposal is a controversial exploration of modern love and morality. It is the story of a billionaire financier (Robert Redford) who offers a struggling architect (Woody Harrelson) and his realtor misses (Demi Moore) a million dollars if Morre will spend a night with him. It puts to a test the often herald conceits that married and dating couples sometimes torment each other with. For Harrelson and Moore, they can end their financial worries and save their dream house property if they accept the offer. But the big question is will they accept and if so, can their marriage survive?

LaserDisc Picture:
This transfer is a bit red-shifted and color balance is slightly inconsistent, but fleshtones in some scenes look natural. The moody cinematography is soft focused with a dark hued texture which daunts shadow detail. But some outdoor shots are sharp and vivid. The matted aspect ratio is 1.85:1.

LaserDisc Soundtrack:
The Dolby Surround® soundtrack provides an excellent sense of scene ambience and envelopment in the surrounds. Well recorded name artists tracks make the sound all the more enjoyable.
