WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
Pink Floyd The Wall is the visual adaptation of the British band Pink Floyd’s landmark record album. It stars Boomtown Rats alum Bob Geldof as Pink, a rock superstar who has has too many shows, too much dope and too much adulation - so much that he is slowly going mad. Pink begins to build brick after brick in his “wall” of painful memories as he slips further away from reality. Includes songs “Comfortably Numb,” “Another Brick In The Wall, “Hey You,” and “Run Like Hell.”

LaserDisc Picture:
The picture is excellent as is the 2.35:1 transfer. Colors are rich and appear completely natural, and the animation is superbly rendered. It is quite a visual statement.

LaserDisc Soundtrack:
The sound is magnificent. The music tracks have been derived from the album master recording.
