WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
Aspen Extreme is a visually spectacular action tale on the ski slopes of Colorado. Two buddies abandon their blue collar world to become ski instructors where they encounter adventure, wealth and seduction, and yes extreme skiing. They find themselves surround by temptation and Aspen’s alluring lifestyle, but they encounter extreme danger when they ski out of bounds to be engulfed into a treacherous snow hole while experiencing firsthand extreme skiing. Beautiful women, handsome men, parties, romance and daring skiing are the temptations explored in Aspen Extreme.

LaserDisc Picture:
The picture quality look terrific overall but is marred by a variation in fleshtone hues which range from perfectly natural to extremely reddish. Otherwise technically this disc is excellent with a near flawless transfer at an aspect ratio of 1.75:1. The picture is sharp, crisp with deep blacks and excellent shadow detail.Colors are fully saturated for an eye-popping effect.

LaserDisc Soundtrack:
The Dolby Surround® soundtrack is well recorded with a enveloping surround presence in many scenes. The music score heightens the allure of the visuals.
