WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
Cyborg is the modern sci-fi super violent adventure fantasy starring international jock Van Damme as the fearsome warrior-crusader Gibson Ricknbacker, who must save a beautiful human robot from the barbaric Flesh Pirates. The womanoid carries the endangered cure to a virulent epidemic that has ravaged the 21st century and caused America to descend into a seething, barbaric nightmare. The Flesh Pirates plot to keep the cure for themselves and become the ultimate power in what remains of civilization. Lots of action will thrill Van Damme fans in this sweeping sword and science-fiction epic.

LaserDisc Picture:
The picture has been matted at 1.85:1. Color balance and contrast is excellent with solid blacks and good shadow detail. There is only the slightest apparent grain and very little noise to mar this otherwise pristine transfer. Flesh tones are naturally rendered and images are sharply defined.

LaserDisc Soundtrack:
The superb soundtrack is punctuated with a powerful music score and an aggressive scene to scene surround envelopment along with directional sound effects.
