WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
We’re Back! A Dinosaur’s Story is based on the book by Hudson Talbott. Steven Spielberg presents this animated tale of four huge but huggable dinos who visit New York City to make dreams come true. The musical tale is about the time-traveling Capt. NewEyes, who with his I.Q. boosting “Brain Grain” cereal transform dinos Rex, Elsa, Dweeb and Woog into thinking, feeling, talking creatures, who also sing and dance. The four decide they want to meet all the kids in the future who wish they could see a real dinosaur. Capt. NewEyes gets them to earth but his evil brother Screw Eyes kidnaps the big-hearted dinosaurs, and they must rescue their young friends Louie and Cecilia. In the end love, friendship and kindness triumph.
