WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
Sister Act 2: Back In The Habit brings back Academy Award® winner Whoopi Goldberg as that incognito laughing nun undercover, Sister Mary Clarence. This time Sister Clarence is the disguise for Deloris Van Cartier, a lounge singer billed as ...And Her Sister Act! She brings her fun, laughter and music to a troubled inner-city school to in-spire a bunch of streetwise students. Joined by her sister singers from the first movie, Whoopi once again answers her calling.

LaserDisc Picture:
The picture quality is superb with deep blacks, outstanding color fidelity, excellent contrast and sharpness and natural fleshtones. It has been matted at 1.75:1.

LaserDisc Soundtrack:
The stereo soundtrack has a subtle surround envelopment provided solely by the music score. Otherwise this is essentially an undistinguished mono mix. Fidelity throughout is inconsistent as well, voices having no presence.
