WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
The storyline has events occurring in 1964 when man touches the surface of the moon for the first time, or so he thinks until a British flag from 1899 is discovered on the moon. The story traces the adventure of three discoverers with British actor Edward Judd featured along with American Martha Hyer as his bride-to-be, and Britisher Lionel Jeffries as the scientist inventor of the vessel.

LaserDisc Picture:
The 2.38:1 picture has generally good de-tail, accurate fleshtones and fully saturated color. Blacks are deep and the picture is generally artifact-free. The Pioneer version was just slightly more detailed and brighter.

LaserDisc Soundtrack:
The monaural soundtrack is problematic with noise and a distorted music score.
