WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
The Flintstones is “Steven Spielrock’s” presentation of the Yabba-Dabba-Doo’ins of the modern Stone Age family. Based on the Hanna-Barbera Productions cartoon characters, Fred Flintstone (John Goodman), his wife Wilma (Elizabeth Perkins), Barney Rubble (Rick Moranis) and his wife Betty (Rosie O’Donnell) come to life in this fun-for-the-family comedy filled with an overload of gimmicks and sight-gags.

LaserDisc Picture:
The 1.85:1 THX® transfer has excellent color fidelity and exemplary clarity with superb detail and sharpness and no artifacts.

LaserDisc Soundtrack:
The soundtrack features a great musical score and a spatially enveloping house-rocking soundtrack.
