WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
A Troll In Central Park is Don Bluth’s latest animated tale with voices by Dom DeLuise, Cloris Leachman, Charles Nelson Reilly and Hayley Mills. This is the story of Stanley, a lovable troll with an unusual gift, his green thumb creates flowers at a touch, which gets him in trouble with wicked Queen Gnorga, the Troll ruler who hates all pleasant things. She punishes him by banishing him to a faraway place where nothing green grows—New York City! There Stanley finds himself pleasantly surprised when he lands in Central Park and with his two new young friends, Gus and his baby sister, share some great and sometimes scary adventures with positive, life-affirming and ecological themes.
