WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
Little Giants is a family comedy about a peewee football team that fights for the right to play. Former football pro Kevin O’Shea (Ed O’Neill) lives in small town Urbania and coaches the local kids’ football team, the Cowboys. He dreams of a state champion-ship and so dismisses the weaker members of the team as well as Becky, “The Icebox,” an excellent player but a girl. The misfits, (klutzes and wimps) form a rival team, “The Giants” are coached by O’Shea’s brother Danny, (Rick Moranis). Their dream is to beat the Cowboys. The Giants have a hard task on their hands, and while they foul up time after time when the big game arrives they play as a team and carry the day.
