WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
Radio Inside is a sexy coming-of-age love story about two brothers and the woman they love. Matthew Anderson (William McNamara) is the somewhat spacy younger brother who after his father drowns moves to Florida to live with his brother where he becomes a lifeguard and talks to Jesus on the phone while attempting to work out the grieving over his loss. When he falls in love with Natalie (Elisabeth Shue), his older brother Michael’s (Dylan Walsh) girlfriend an interesting and sensual interaction between the three is created, set against the exciting background of Miami Beach’s evocative scenery. This was originally seen on Showtime which is a rarity in the theatrical marketplace.

LaserDisc Picture:
The picture is matted at 1.85:1. This is a really good looking transfer with exemplary fleshtones, vivid colors, and deep, solid blacks. Everything looks natural, sharp and detailed. There is some slight grain and noise in the dark scenes but artifacts are virtually non-existent.

LaserDisc Soundtrack:
The film includes alternative music hits by The Cranberries, and Big Head Todd and The Monsters, which provide a nice ambience and the dialogue is well recorded.
