WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
If you liked Damon Wayans on TVs “In Living Color,” you’ll probably enjoy Major Payne. In this hilarious escapade, Wayans plays a gung-ho ex-Special Forces marine, Major Benson Winifred Payne who is unhappy in civilian life and reluctantly accepts a position as commander of the Madison Academy Junior ROTC. In the past, he commanded thhe roughest, toughest soldiers in the world and was considered the military’s most dangerous secret weapon. Now his troops are a rag-tag group of juvenile delinquints and misfits not yet old enough even to shave. Will he whip them into shape? Well, yes, but in the process, prepare yourself for a laugh attack as the comedy situations are Major Funny.
