WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
Tall Tale is the Walt Disney production of the unbelievable adventures of fast-draw hero Pecos Bill (Patrick Swayze) and his larger-than-life companions Paul Bunyan and John Henry, who do good deeds in an untamed land. The story is about a strong-willed young man’s fight against a greedy land-grabber (Scott Glenn), who’ll stop at nothing to get his hands on the deed to the youngster’s family farm. Brought up on stories of the Old West character Pecos Bill told by his father, the brave young man sets out to find help and no other than Pecos Bill himself and his pals come to his aid. Together, they set out on an incredible adventure where there’s excitement and danger around every turn. Tall Tale is a story of imagination that is action-packed with a rousing sense of fun for the whole family.
