WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
Walk Don't Run is a remake of the 1943 film The More The Merrier. It was re-written especially to suit the character of star Cary Grant who was 61 years old at the time. Grant plays an industrialist matchmaker to an American athlete (Jim Hutton), participating in the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, and a British Embassy employee (Samantha Eggar). This romantic comedy was filmed on location in Japan in 1965 with some scenes shot at the Olympics

LaserDisc Picture:
The Panavision® scope frame is presented at 2.35:1. The overall image rendering is soft and natural looking, but texture definition is wanting. Color fidelity is good with natural fleshtones. Noise and artifacts are apparent throughout, however.

LaserDisc Soundtrack:
The sound is undistinguished mono.
