WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
“Crocodile” Dundee II is the sequel to the smash-hit with “Crocodile” Dundee (Paul Hogan) once more in New York with his girlfriend, played by LInda Kozlowski, this time adjusting to life in the big city. After he and his girlfriend are targeted for death by a gang of drug dealers, he returns with her to the Australian out-back to protect her with the mobsters in pursuit. With the help of Aborigine friends he leads the bad guys on a chase through hostile territory, where they soon find they are outmaneuvered and out of control.

LaserDisc Picture:
The picture appears grainy throughout with inconsistent fleshtones. Overall the colors are pale and undersaturated and the picture has poor contrast. Some scenes, however, particularly the outdoor sequences, appear to be naturally rendered. The picture has been reframed at 2.15:1.

LaserDisc Soundtrack:
The Dolby Surround® soundtrack is excellent and in a league with the original. It delivers an effective surround envelopment, a dynamic music score and a spatial quality that is effective. The dialogue is always intelligible.
