WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
White Fang 2: Myth Of The White Wolf is the continuing and rousing adventure story of the Alaskan half-dog, half-wolf who along with his master Henry Casey (Scott Bairstow) faces danger, this time from a ruthless gang of gold prospectors. Henry and White Fang are rescued by a young Native American (Charmaine Craig) when their canoe capsizes. The pair risk their lives to protect her tribe, the Haida’s, who are starving because the caribou have disappeared after their homeland is targeted by the land-grabbing miners.

LaserDisc Picture:
The picture has been matted at 1.80:1. Overall the picture is a bit dark and slightly unfocused. Fleshtones are inaccurate. Minor grain and noise artifacts are evident as well. Otherwise the picture has a natural look that conveys a soft effect with beautiful wilderness scenery.

LaserDisc Soundtrack:
The soundtrack is nicely recorded and spatial with an effective, but subtle surround. Great outdoor sound effects enhance the outdoors setting of the story. Bass is extended and the music is expansive.
