WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
Based on the characters created by Bram Stoker and an idea by John Elder, Dracula—Prince Of Darkness is the sequel to Horror Of Dracula and stars Christopher Lee as the dreaded vampire revived by his servant to wreak terror in the Carpathian Mountains. Despite strict warnings from a local priest and their coachman, a family of travellers insist on proceeding to a forbidden destination.

LaserDisc Picture:
The picture, framed at 2.25:1, is very out of focus with brownish colors, fleshtones and weak brown-blacks. Interiors are plugged up with poor shadow detail. Noise and artifacts are apparent throughout.

LaserDisc Soundtrack:
The soundtrack is monaural.
