WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
Winner of the Special Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival in 1996, MicroCosmos is a close-up collaboration of breathtaking nature. It takes an intricate look at the insect world—worker ants, busy bees, a caterpillar’s transformation into a butterfly—giving the viewer a chance to witness the minute miracles of life. With its tiny cast of thousands mixed with the big sound of Dolby® Digital, MicroCosmos is hailed by critics everywhere.
