WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
It’s the Power Rangers to the rescue at turbo speed in their all-new motion picture adventure, Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie. Imbued with new Turbo powers and driving custom designed Turbo Zords (futuristic super-cars), the five superheroes (Jason David Frank, Steve Cardenas, Johnny Yong Bosch, Catherine Sutherland and Nakia Burrise) battle an evil space pirate Divatox (Hilary Shepard Turner) to save a wise and gentle alien—and planet Earth—from destruction.

LaserDisc Picture:
In the opening forest scene, colors are oversaturated with a green tint throughout, but as the movie progresses, color fidelity is rich and natural looking with accurate fleshtones and deep blacks. The picture, matted at 1.85:1, is sharp and detailed with good shadow detail and contrast. There is virtually no noise or artifacts.

LaserDisc Soundtrack:
The Dolby® Digital discrete 5.1 soundtrack pounds with exciting deep bass energy and .1 low frequency effects. The sound is dynamic and spatial with discrete and aggressive surround effects. The sound design is terrific and both versions are sure to please.
