WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
In L.A. Confidential, what you’ll see is off the record, on the QT and very hush-hush. Based on the novel by James Ellroy, this stylish, “thrilling tale of police corruption and Hollywood glamour” demands full attention as three diverse Los Angeles cops investigate the same central crime. Sergeants Bud White (Russell Crowe), Jack Vincennes (Kevin Spacey) and Ed Exley (Guy Pearce) find themselves tangled in a twisted web of corruption that goes deeper into the police department than they could have ever imagined. Academy Award®-winner Kim Basinger co-stars.
