WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
Warriors Of Virtue is a charming fantasy adventure for kids of all ages. The journey begins when, after an innocent dare gone wrong, young Ryan (Mario Yedidia) is transported into a magnificent fantasy world whose sole lifespring is defended by the Warriors Of Virtue. These brave kangaroo-like creatures use the forces of nature—wood, fire, metal, earth and water—to battle against the ultimate evil warlord Komodo (Angus MacFadyen).

LaserDisc Picture:
The picture, framed at 2.35:1, exhibits excellent color fidelity with natural fleshtones, rich and vivid colors and deep, solid blacks. Images are very sharp and detailed with excellent shadow detail and contrast. Some scenes utilize a softer focus, but do not distract from the picture quality. There is no noise or artifacts for a visually stunning adventure.

LaserDisc Soundtrack:
Both the discrete 5.1 Dolby® Digital and matrix PCM soundtracks are excellent. The discrete sounds slightly more articulate and defined with a wider soundstage presence. Dialogue sounds natural and often nicely spatial. Bass is deep and powerful and surround envelopment is often split in the discrete.
