WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
Good Burger is a kids movie about Ed (Kel Mitchell) and Dexter (Kenan Thompson), two employees who work for rival burger joints: the small, folksy Good Burger and the high-tech, upscale Mondo Burger. When Dexter loses his job at Mondo Burger, he is taken in at Good Burger, where he teams up with Ed to keep their jobs and stop Mondo Burger from stealing a secret recipe and dominating the burger industry. This dumb-and-dumber comedy will surely please pre-teens.

LaserDisc Picture:
The picture, matted at 1.85:1, exhibits excellent clarity and color fidelity with natural fleshtones, rich and vibrant colors, solid blacks and bright whites. Images are sharp with fine detail and nicely rendered textures. Shadow detail and contrast are excellent. There are no distracting artifacts for an eye-popping picture that is sure to please its younger audience.

LaserDisc Soundtrack:
The Dolby® Surround soundtrack is conventional, often sounding veiled and pulled toward the center. Dialogue sounds manufactured and unnatural. Occasionally the music delivers an aggressive presence and livens up this mediocre soundtrack.
