WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
Wheels On Meals—originally titled Meals On Wheels, but changed when the studio realized that all of their boxoffice bombs started with the letter “M”—is an action comedy that features Jackie Chan and Yuen Biao as catering van entrepreneurs who must find a mysterious pickpocket (former Miss Spain, Lola Forner) who has been kidnapped. Chan and Baio make an exciting and humorous team of bumbling vendors. Watch for the scene in chapter three when Biao, following Chan, jumps out of a second story window in one camera shot.

LaserDisc Picture:
The picture, matted at 1.75:1, has an overall bluish tint throughout the color fidelity, and often colors are overly bright and unnatural with orange-hued fleshtones. Interiors are dark and marred with noise. Only some exteriors look slightly more natural. Images lack detail, clarity and definition. Noise and distracting artifacts are apparent throughout.

LaserDisc Soundtrack:
The soundtrack is distorted and undistinguished monaural.
