Story Synopsis:
Based on the book by Robert A. Heinlein, Starship Troopers is a futuristic adventure about a handful of dedicated soldiers who engage in intergalactic warfare with terrifying alien insects. Upon graduating from high school and against his parents wishes, Johnny Rico (Casper Van Dien) joins the mobile infantry to win the heart of his girlfriend (Denise Richards), who plans to become a starship pilot. But when the Bugs wipe his home off the map, killing over eight million people, Johnny becomes determined to destroy the insect threat to human civilization. Dina Meyer, Jake Busey, Rue McClanahan and Michael Ironside also star.
