WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
Sequel to “The Magnificent Seven,” a companion feature with that film on this four-sided CLV Deluxe Letter-Box double feature edition.

LaserDisc Picture:
When compared to the companion feature, The Return Of The Seven, clearly the latter is superior visually, with significantly better color fidelity and detail. The image quality is sharper and more colorful with better contrast, though in parts it also ap-pears a bit pale. The picture is marred by the appearance of join flashes here and there and slight noise artifacts. The 2.35:1 ratio is true to the CinemaScope® frame.

LaserDisc Soundtrack:
The sound is undistinguished, but the films are so “magnificent,” one almost forgives the defects.
