Bradbury, cinematographer Stephen Burum and effects creator Harison Ellenshaw are featured in a running commentary. The discussions about camera usage and old-school effects are facinating and Bradbury tells of having to reshoot the ending and the problems during the production.

WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
Something Wicked This Way Comes stars Jonathan Pryce as Mr. Dark, proprietor of Dark’s Pandemonium Carnival—an eerie traveling show that promises unusual and exciting experiences. But when two young boys discover the frightening secrets that lay beyond the tentflaps, they plead with the town’s librarian Charles Halloway (Robards) to help save the people of Green Town from the alluring Mr. Dark and his promise to fulfill ones deepest desires—with a price attached, of course.

LaserDisc Picture:
The matted 1.64:1 picture exhibits warm natural colors, accurate fleshtones and deep blacks. Shadow detail is excellent and images are sharp and detailed, and there is no noise.

LaserDisc Soundtrack:
The sound presentation is aggressively haunting with a terrific James Horner score.
