WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
Bronson stars in three different action-packed westerns that will make a great collection to any library. The set includes Chato’s Land, Breakheart Pass and The White Buffalo. A train carrying troops bound for Fort Humboldt in Breakheart Pass, stars Bronson as undercover secret agent, John Deakin. No one is who he really seems to be on the train where around every bend there is a murder. Deakin, who poses himself as a card thief and arsonist must weed out the few innocent passengers on board before they are all murdered. Even the sheriff (Ben Johnson) cannot be trusted on this speeding locomotive supposedly on a mission for mercy, but seemingly on a mission for murder.

LaserDisc Picture:
The 1.85:1 picture is sharp and detailed, with natural fleshtones and vivid color. Artifacts are minor and noise is slight, apparent in the darker scenes.

LaserDisc Soundtrack:
The sound is undistinguished mono.
