DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD picture exhibits satisfying images with natural color fidelity. Fleshtones are accurately rendered, hues are nicely saturated and blacks appear deep and solid. Images can be sharp and nicely detailed with well balanced contrast and shadow delineation. Other scenes appear slightly soft at times. Edge enhancement is not a problem, and pixelization is also limited. (Suzanne Hodges)
Soundtrack:
This very dialogue-driven movie may not push the home theatre surround sound envelopment much, but the pleasant-sounding audio mix found here boasts some very nice fidelity and a coherent soundstage. Even though most of the audio information is geared toward the front three channels, there are occasions where the instrumental score fills all five surround channels with some nice sounding music.
