    Story Synopsis:


    DVD Picture:
    The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD picture exhibits improvements in sharpness and contrast when compared to the LaserDisc (Issue 11). Viewed alone, images are generally sharp, though the picture can, at times, appear soft or undefined. Contrast can seem a bit low, and visual information is limited in the darker scenes. Colors are rich and can be nicely balanced, but hues can appear oversaturated. Blacks are deep and endless. There are occasional source element artifacts detected. The picture can look quite good, while othertimes appearing undefined. (Suzanne Hodges)
