    Story Synopsis:
    Nick (McDermott) is an architect planning to raze the historic apartment that Gwen (Tripplehorn) loves. After meeting as children their lives took different turns, and they never dreamed they would run into each other again. Twenty years later when Nick is involved with a former child actress (Parker) and Gwen thinks she

    DVD Picture:
    The anamorphically enhanced DVD has a dated quality, with images that are soft and slightly smeared. Contrast seems a bit low at times, with hazy whites, and little visual information in the darker scenes. Colors are somewhat subdued, with lots of brown hues, and blacks are slightly weak. The source element is revealing of plenty of grain and a few artifacts. There is some pixelization, but no distracting edge enhancement. (Suzanne Hodges)

    Widescreen Review is by far the most in-depth and comprehensive publication in its genre. Readers of all levels of expertise can increase their knowledge and enhance their enjoyment of the Home Theatre experience. Widescreen Review is one of the few, if not the only publication, that actually affects manufacturer’s decisions in regards to their product lines. I believe one of the reasons DTS decoding is so common in consumer equipment is due to the efforts of Gary Reber and his associates. Additionally, the magazine has heralded the importance of a properly calibrated video monitor. Add to this the software reviews, articles on emerging technologies, and meticulous equipment reviews, and you have a magazine that sets the standard for others to emulate.
