Story Synopsis:
A small town under a full moon is being ravaged by a savage beast. A werewolf stalks its prey in the night, tearing innocent towsfolk to shreds. Though wheerchair-bound, young Marty (Haim) is the only one in the town with enough courage to stop the human canine. And the only way to do it is with a Silver Bullet. Based on Stephen King
DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD exhibits a picture that is suitable for the storytelling. Images are generally sharp and detailed, though some scenes appear soft or slightly smeared. Colors are rich and well balanced, though somewhat dated, and blacks are deep and solid. Contrast seems a bit low, but shadow delineation is pleasing, with enough visual information in the dark to let the mild terror work its magic. Source element artifacts and dirt are noticed, but there is little film grain. Pixelization and edge enhancement are minimal. (Suzanne Hodges)
