    Story Synopsis:
    Based on the provocative novel by Vladimir Nabokov, Lolita chronicles the obsession of a stodgy university professor Humbert Humbert (Mason) toward his precocious young stepdaughter (Lyon) and the shocking forbidden affair that begins between them after the death of her mother (Winters).

    Criterion’s all-new digital transfer is presented in a variable 1.33:1 and 1.66:1 aspect ratio. The digital video transfer is stunning with excellent shadow detail in the black and white images.
