Story Synopsis

Based upon the novel “The One Hundred And One Dalmations” by Dodie Smith, 101 Dalmations is the live-action remake of Disney’s animated classic. While strolling in a London park one day, two Dalmations, Pongo and Perdy, conspire to bring their owners together. Before long, Roger (Jeff Daniels) and Anita (Joely Richardson) are married, and Pongo and Perdy become the proud parents of fifteen puppies. Glenn Close stars as Cruella De Vil, a wealthy, fur-loving fashion tycoon whose love of stripes has grown thin. Desperate for a new look, Cruella becomes determined to wear the puppies as a coat. She sends her clumsy cohorts Jasper (Hugh Laurie) and Horace (Mark Williams) to collect every Dalmation pup in London—and Pongo and Perdy must race against the clock to save their pups.
