25-Aug-05

Demonstrating its support for the home theatre industry and professional designers and installers, Universal Remote Control announced that it has joined the Home Theater Specialists of America (HTSA). Universal Remote Control joins 53 prestigious retailers and many leading manufacturers who comprise the HTSA and specialize in providing consumers with high-quality audio, video, TV, furniture and accessory products as well as professional guidance. ""Universal Remote is proud to be associated with the HTSA,"" said Lars Granoe, Director of Sales. ""Our participation with this level of elite retailers across the country will foster greater communication and cooperation between Universal and its dealer base, which in turn will create a better service environment for home theater customers and make for a healthier industry in the long run."" The HTSA is an award-winning group of home theater retailers from across the country representing more than $500 million in home electronics sales. The group's mission is to demonstrate to consumers that its members represent the best in terms of price, service, design, installation, technology and professional staffing. ""It is with great excitement that we welcome Universal Remote Control into the HTSA family,"" said HTSA Executive Director, Richard Glikes. ""Our organization is continuing to grow and develop the collective knowledge and innovation that our members have to offer. With the addition of Universal Remote Control, HTSA provides an even more comprehensive solution that is unparalleled in depth and breadth."" The cooperative effort between Universal Remote and the HTSA is expected to cultivate an environment where Universal Remote, through an exchange of ideas between HTSA members, can take an even more proactive position that may have impact on product planning and promotional activity. Perhaps more importantly, Universal will strive to build on an already high level of service to meet the growing needs of the HTSA membership.
