Intended to replace both the XL Series and Connoisseur Series, the all new C-Series has been designed to visually stimulate onesí emotions, while capturing every feeling and sensation.With the wealth of experience gathered through 30 years of design, construction and engineering, comes the C-Seriesí exceptional design. With the purchase of any C-Series speaker the user becomes a member of the Energy team, experiencing the intense reproduction our speakers convey. With the unique design comes blistering performance on all fronts.Aesthetically, the design features beautifully balanced proportions, representative of all Energy speakers. Driver styling cues are taken from the Reference Connoisseur series, while incorporating acoustic design from both our Veritas and Reference Connoisseur seriesí. The unusual front baffle is carved from a 1î thick piece of MDF, finished in hand-rubbed high gloss piano black lacquer, creating a rigid platform that is visually stimulating. The C-Series is available in exquisite Black Ash or Cherry finishes.Over and above the significant technological breakthroughs that the C-Series represents, every single component has been hand selected to deliver maximum performance and outstanding listening pleasure. Fitted with the latest developments in driver design, the CSeries provides a gratifying feel of complete control, even during the most demanding passages. Combining Energyís 1î Chambered Aluminum Hyperdrive dome tweeter with the composite Fiberglas cone creates a dynamic combination. Needless to say, performance is outstanding.The C-Series is comprised of 8 models, each representing a solution to various consumer demands. The 3 bookshelf models offer different woofer sizes, for increasing amounts of bass output. They incorporate our Macromountô insert, for use with our adjustable wall bracket system. The 2 tower models offer significant performance upgrades from their bookshelf models, with greater bass output. The C-300 and C-500 towers incorporate the same tweeter as the bookshelf models, guaranteeing that all tonality and timbre is consistent. With a choice of two center channels, the C-C50 and C-C100 ensure dialogue and music are both reproduced with the emotion and intensity required. The C-R100 bipole rear channel ensures enveloping effects are reproduced in harmony with the system. The C-series offers the next generation of design and performance from Energy.
