Bryston is pleased to announce that they have signed an agreement with Plitron Manufacturing to market, worldwide, ëTorus Power Conditioningí products for use in audio and video applications. There will be a series of conditioners developed ranging from 1800VA to 12,000VA. A massive flagship 12,000VA unit will be displayed for the first time at the Bryston booth during the 119th Audio Engineering Society Show in New York. The impetus for ëTorusí Power products development was Brystonís long-standing position that its amplifiers could be starved of input current with available power conditioners. The benefits of noise reduction were outweighed by the constricted power of most conditioners on the market. Torus Power addresses those concerns with a line of products that are based on fullyisolated high-power transformers with the best surge suppression available (no MOVís), packaged in either NEMA or rack-mount enclosures. Balanced two-phase inputs and series-mode surge protection provide high power and noise reduction with equipment protection that dos not contaminate ground reference in audio and video signals. Estimated MSRP will range from: $2500 - $9000 US.
