Worldwide First HD-DVD Disc With AACS Disc Made With DCA MIS 8.5 Formatter

DCA and TOEMI Media Solutions Limited produced the world's first playable AACS encrypted HD-DVD disc manufactured at TMS' Tokyo facility November 29, 2005. AACS encryption for HD-DVD was enabled by DCA's new Blazer workstation. Mastering was with DCA MIS 8.5. MIS 8.5 is a revised version of its industry standard MIS V8 signal processor and is capable of HD-DVD with proper wave shaping on any of the three major LBR's being sold for High Density Optical Disc mastering.
