Three new wireless extension prototypes from Gefen offer cutting-edge cable-free technologies for cameras, computer peripherals, HDTV displays and more. Gefen's Wireless USB Extender enables cameras, printers, keyboards and any USB 2.0 powered device to be connected to the source without cables. Small sender and receiver units are connected to the source computer and extended USB device. Up to 30 feet can be traversed without cables using Icron Extreme USB and Freescale ultra-wideband technologies. Gefen's Wireless Video Extender supplies a convenient, cable-free solution for delivering component and s-video sources up to 30-feet from the source to the display. No cables are needed to transmit a precise replication of audio/video signals, allowing televisions, projectors and displays to be mounted without regard for connector wires. The Wireless Video Extender utilizes 802.11a standards and is capable of passing a/v signals through walls and floors without interference. Gefen's Wireless HDMI Extender sends HD audio/video signals up to 30-feet without cables. Crisp, highly defined imagery and multichannel digital audio is delivered instantly using sender and receiver units connected to the source and display. All HD components and displays with HDMI connectors can be extended without cables using Gefen's Wireless HDMI Extender. The unit is HDCP/HDMI compliant.
