Da-Lite Featured In EHX-Vidikron AudioControl Awards

Da-Lite home theater front projection screens were featured in two of the award winning demonstration rooms at the recent Electronic House Expo tradeshow held in Orlando, Florida. Da-Lite’s Pro-Imager Masking system was on display in the Vidikron demonstration room, which earned the show’s “Most Entertaining Presentation” award. For this demonstration, Da-Lite’s Pro-Imager masked the projected image from 2.35:1 to 16:9. High Contrast Cinema Vision, a 1.1 gain vinyl projection screen fabric, which is best paired with digital projectors in controlled ambient lighting environments, was specified for the demonstration room. Da-Lite was also featured in the AudioControl demonstration room which won the “Best Overall Demo award” from the demo alley judges. The AudioControl theater featured 100” diagonal HDTV formatted Cinema Contour® fixed frame screen. The fixed screen was paired with High Contrast Cinema Perf fabric, which has micro perforations to allow the center channel speaker to be placed behind the projection screen. The Cinema Contour® features a three inch frame with a 45-degree beveled edge designed to eliminate shadowing in the viewing area. The frame sides for the Pro-Imager and Cinema Contour® were finished with the company’s Pro-Trim, a matte black fabric frame covering which acts to reduce reflected light from the frame.
