Technology Leaders Showcase With SilverStar At InfoComm 2006

Vutec Corporation announced that several manufacturers exhibiting at the 2006 InfoComm Show during June 7-9 will display their latest products on Vutec’s SilverStar™ high gain/high contrast video projection screen. Major electronics manufacturers such as Texas Instruments, inventor of Digital Light Processing™ technology, with its extensive portfolio of video and imaging products, and Magenta Research, a leading manufacturer of video distribution hardware and computer command-and-control systems, are presenting their products to the AV industry on SilverStar screens provided by Vutec. “We are proud to see these technology leaders turn to SilverStar as the preferred screen for the most important commercial product showcase of the year,” said Vutec vice president Kevin R. Baisley. “Since its introduction in 2004, SilverStar has established itself as the industry's high-definition front projection screen,” he added. The superior performance of SilverStar recently gained recognition with other electronics manufacturers, including Hitachi and Epson, as more than a dozen SilverStar screens were used to display manufacturers’ products at CES earlier this year. “SilverStar’s patented technology offers a gain of 6.0,” noted Baisley. “Equally important, the screen provides users with a 180 degree viewing area, high contrast, and brilliant colors, even in uncontrolled lighting conditions. SilverStar comes in fixed-frame models in 4:3, 16:9 and 2.35:1 formats, and can be multi-plexed together up to a 200 inch diagonal.
