Digital “aquarium” Developed By Rutgers-Camden Business Incubator Tenant To Elevate Moods Of Comcast Users.

Coming soon to nine million televisions across the nation: a virtual aquarium designed to boost positive mental and emotional states, courtesy of Screen Dreams Publishing, Inc., an entrepreneurial company enjoying strong growth at the Rutgers-Camden Business Incubator In a new deal with Comcast Select On Demand, the Camden-based company will provide its “Living Marine Aquarium” video for the Harmony Channel, which delivers ambient music and visuals to Comcast users. The Screen Dreams video will begin to air in August. The Comcast deal is yet another success for the Rutgers-Camden incubator client, which recently introduced the “Living Fireplace” screensaver for flat-panel televisions as part of its Living Series line of DVD screensavers that transform unused flat-panel televisions into living artwork. Philadelphia resident Stephen Spivak launched Screen Dreams in March 2005. According to Spivak, Screen Dreams’ products differ from traditional screensavers for computers in that they prevent blank, unused flat-screen televisions from becoming dark spaces on walls by providing vibrant artwork in motion.
