Vutec Corporation Opens New Training Center

Vutec has opened a new training center at its headquarters to accommodate the company’s expanding network of 2,000 consumer and commercial dealers in 67 countries. “Vutec will launch a comprehensive training program in the company’s new facility for dealers, distributors and systems integrators starting with a series of two-day workshops,” stated Kevin R. Baisley, Vutec’s vice president of sales and marketing. The workshops will be offered to Vutec dealers and distributors on the following dates: September 7-8 and 28-29, October 12-13 and 26-27, November 2-3, December 7-8, 2006, and January 25-26, 2007. Spanish language training for Vutec dealers serving Latin America will be held during September 21-22 and November 9-10. Those Vutec dealers and distributors interested in attending any of these sessions should contact Spencer Mallinson or Melba Procter at 800-77-4700. “Attendees will gain a solid grounding in Vutec’s product lines-their design, manufacture and installation-from the on-site training,” commented Spencer Mallinson, Vutec’s technical director. “They’ll see how Vutec manufactures the 65 screen products and AV accessories that comprise its Vutec and Vision X lines, and be given instruction on the design and engineering of our fabrics, projection screens, and masking systems to help their clients select the most appropriate products for their viewing needs.” The company’s portfolio of screens and AV accessories are offered in two lines of products: the Vutec brand of competitively priced screens for home theater and commercial applications, and Vision X, the company’s premier line of high performance projection screens and masking systems.
