September 19, 2006

Soleil Home Automation Shading, a wholly owned division of MechoShade Systems, Inc., the leading manufacturer of window management solutions for architects and designers, will feature its latest product, WhisperTrak™, at the CEDIA Expo, Booth # 421. The WhisperTrak™ system will be displayed in both Black and White models at the booth. WhisperTrak, by MechoShade is a versatile family of powerful, yet quiet, motorized drapery products with clean, monochromatic, European-quality design and engineering. Available in lengths up to 58 feet, WhisperTrak can be curved to the tightest radii in the industry. Utilizing a standard bus network and common aluminum profile, WhisperTrak provides greater flexibility in motor selection. With 24-volt operation powering these systems, using WhisperTrak is as easy as plugging in a lamp. WhisperTrak systems can seamlessly integrate with third party control systems such as Crestron, Lutron or Vantage. The motors can be daisy chained and then integrated with existing third party lighting or A/V systems by means of CANbus networking technology, IR, dry contact closure or Somfy RTS wireless control technology. The WhisperTrak system’s two interchangeable motor models, the HD20 and MD32 vary in price, performance and control. These motors feature universal mounting capability enabling the installer to determine in the field whether to use the right or left drive. The WhisperTrak motorized draperies can then be operated through decorator-style compatible paddle switches, two-button switches, four-button switches, 15-channel infrared transmitter, and a RTS wireless wall switch or transmitter when ordered with RTS motor receiver. The WhisperTrak family of motors include: The HD20 System: the most powerful, yet whisper quiet architectural motorized drapery system with maximum weight loads of 220 pounds. Whether straight or curved, the HD20 System can handle over 58 feet of drapery and is programmable up to five intermediate stop positions. The MD32 System is medium duty, conversationally quiet and capable of handling 88 pounds of drapery over 32 feet with curving ability.
