Paul Kahn Named CEO At BG Corp

Management Changes Signal New Direction for Innovative Speaker Company

BG Corp., a leading innovator in high performance loudspeakers, announced important management changes for the highly regarded brand. Warren Kocmond, who has served as the company’s CEO since its inception in 1994, announced his retirement and named Paul G. Kahn as his replacement, effective immediately. Mr. Kahn brings a wealth of successful business experience in his noted career. During his career he has been the recipient of numerous marketing and business awards including Marketing Executive of the Year from the American Marketing Association (AMA); and received several “Effies” for marketing and advertising. In addition, Mr. Kahn received the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award from the President of the United States, the highest business award in the U.S. He has also been featured in Fortune, Forbes and Business Week magazines. Mr. Kahn has served BG Corp as an executive consultant since December, 2005. Mr. Kocmond will remain Chairman of BG’s Board of Directors as well as a strategic consultant to the company. Ed Jaeger remains President and CFO and will continue to oversee the company’s day to day operations. “I am delighted to be assuming the role of CEO at BG. The company will be unveiling new PDi and RT Series custom loudspeakers as well displaying the company’s entire award-winning line of planar-ribbon based loudspeakers. BG personnel will be available throughout the show conducting exciting demonstrations and answering questions.
