Inspired by thirty five years of design expertise and endowed with proven high performance technologies, the new Series 100 and Series 200 in-ceiling speakers offer great sound quality, versatility and ease of installation. By sharing the innovative and trusted MMP® and C-CAM® driver topologies utilised by our award-winning floor, stand, on-wall and in-wall loudspeakers, the Series 100 and 200 models introduce further flexibility to our whole-house approach to speaker design, which delivers a continuity of superior sound irrespective of décor, room size and application. Performance by design The Series 100 and 200 loudspeakers are open back designs offering easy installation in a range of commercial and residential environments where fitting depth is restricted or uncertain. They offer the biggest bass driver size for the smallest footprint in their class, providing a more convincing full-range sound in a wider range of locations than rival offerings. The new paintable models, which will resist high humidity are supplied with aluminium grilles and specified for a choice of performance levels, enhanced by high overall efficiency, ease of drive, and reliability. Fast, Secure Installation The 100 and 200 series’ Tri-Grip mounting scheme takes 25% less time to install than conventional ‘four-dog’ clamping speakers, and offers three times the clamping surface area for a better seal between speaker and ceiling. Midrange and bass response is enhanced while the rigid Tri-Grip tweeter bridge not only makes handling easy but also improves system rigidity and midrange/bass fidelity. Series 100 Developed to combine high efficiency and wide frequency range, the three Series 100 models provide ‘no frills’ high-performance. They marry the advanced MMP II bass driver cone technology with Monitor Audios’ trade mark C-CAM gold dome tweeter. The Series 100 crossover uses high-grade audiophile components to preserve the signal quality and provide a naturally smooth response. Optimum imaging and set-up is established via a pivoting tweeter (with 15 degrees of play in all directions) and high frequency (+3db or -3db) level adjustment.
