The high-quality @HomEscape line consists of acoustically transparent decorative fabrics called Cinergy™, wood-framed 1- and 2-inch ClassicA™ acoustical panels, a modular tray soffit system with integral lighting, and wood columns designed to accommodate box or in-wall speakers and multiple subwoofers. The premium line offers several substantial benefits over other customized theater interior offerings. "When we looked at other products for theater interiors, we identified multiple ways to engineer our @HomEscape line to make it significantly better than the currently available products," said @Home Theater Rooms President and Founder Stuart Lamb. Mr. Lamb is a former Vice President of Sales for Acoustic Innovations and veteran Sony-team member. In developing its line, the company first focused on creating a family of acoustically transparent decorative fabrics, which it calls Cinergy™. "Most people involved in room acoustics know that you can choose between fabrics that either look great or provide minimal distortion when used to hide in-wall speakers," explained Mr. Lamb. "We wanted both qualities, especially now as more homeowners are looking to make their electronics ´disappear´. We worked for a year with both textile consultants and interiors designers to create our own solution. "The end result is Cinergy, the world´s first designer-oriented patterned fabric that looks stunning yet rivals the acoustic performance of FR701, the industry-standard panel fabric and grill cloth." Cinergy™ is available now in 27 combinations of color and pattern. Next, the company addressed the issue of aesthetics. "We know better aesthetics help dealers close theaters at higher margins, so we didn´t stop with the introduction of our decorative Synergy fabrics," Lamb continued. "Our ClassicA™ acoustical panels feature a substantial wood profile designed to accommodate both 1- and 2-inch acoustical material, as well as a very rich and elegant look. "Wood columns are built with mitered corners, not simple butt joints like some other manufacturers." detailed Lamb. "Our modular soffit has a form factor that doesn´t look like a ´box´ on the wall, and our soffit corners create a distinctive tray ceiling-effect that luxury homeowners find desirable." All wood theater components are made of American hardwoods and available in 8 standard stains, prime coat, or custom paints. The @HomEscape line also includes such installation-oriented improvements as a new metal bracket system that allows pre-installation of all the soffit mounting hardware and acts as an effective LV wiring chase. A new corner soffit connector is designed to accommodate non-90 degree corner intersections. The @HomEscape line is available now from authorized @Home Theater Rooms dealers, and can be seen in a fully assembled @HomEscape Theater featuring columns engineered to hide 4 in-wall subwoofers provided by Definitive Technologies in Sound Room SR-17, Colorado Convention Center, during the show.
