the new cinemateq DVI-cables offer ideal prerequisites for home cinema installations with its tightly assembled plugs and external power supply. Quick and easy to install, it is fully HDCP compliant and guarantees excellent transmission quality up to distances of 100m. Besides the high range the excellent loss free transmission quality is a clear advantage of optical transfer which can not even be affected by electro magnetic interferences (e.g. by power lines). Excellent transmission quality. With its optical cables cinemateq offers solutions for loss free transmission of DVI signals up to distances of 100 meters. The DVI signal is converted into an optical signal in the cable connector, transmitted via fiberglas and “re-converted” on the other side. The external power supply guarantees thereby the 100% transmission quality - particularly for HDTV signals to 1080p. In addition, the partially weakend output signal quality supplied by the source equipment is optimized by regenerating and strengthening the signal by the attached device. For the HDCP ability (DDC TMDS dialogue) an additional network cable (CAT5) must be connected for the transmission (not included in the scope of delivery).
